Creative Visions Join Efforts With Polk County To Promote Energy Efficient and Lead Safe Homes

Creative Visions is honored to partner with the Polk County Iowa Health Department  in helping disseminated information pertaining to the dangers of lead poisoning and assistance in removing lead in the home through   Lead Hazard Control Grant.  Polk County’s efforts to make homes healthy by eliminating environment hazards complements Creative Visions I Am Green  energy efficiency project.

 Creative Visions I Am Green project provides energy conservation resources and information to the same households targeted by Polk County in implementing the Lead Hazard Control grant.  “We believe that this collaboration between Polk County and Creative Visions will allow both entities to maximize our resources to reach more households in helping make them both energy efficient and safe, ” said Creative Visions CEO Ako Abdul- Samad.

 The collaboration consists of joint outreach and publicity to inform the community about the benefits and existence of  both programs and involve disseminating literature and referring households to each respective program.
