Starting June 13th to August 8th, Creative Visions will be hosting its eight week long computer literacy course. Come learn everything from basic keyboard and mouse function to how to create Excel spreadsheets and to complete an application online.

In today’s economy and job market even low-pay, low-skill positions require a certain amount of digital literacy. Creative Visions is dedicated to helping this community attain self-sufficiency through education and economic empowerment. Attending our computer training, or any similar course will not only make you a more productive person, but more competitive in your job search.

Class schedule is as follows:

Week 1 June 13           Basic Computer and mouse skills.

 Week 2 June 20          Email attachments, address book, distribution lists

Week 3 June 27           Filling out an online application. 

Week 4 July 4             No Class

Week 5 July 11           Basic Microsoft Word. 

Week 6 July 18           Advanced Microsoft Word (tables, pictures, and text boxes)

Week 7 July 25           Basic Internet. 

Week 8  August 1       Advanced Internet Searching Skills.

Week 9 August 8        Creating Excel Documents.
